All residents are required to maintain renters insurance throughout their tenancy, with at least $100,000 in personal liability coverage. This insurance covers accidents and the home, but not your personal belongings.
Renters insurance is included in your Second Nature Resident Benefits Package. If you instead prefer to obtain the required renters insurance outside of the Resident Benefits Package, you must submit the insurance policy to Second Nature. Second Nature will confirm that the coverage satisfies the requirements described in your lease agreement, including designated Hazel Valley Homes LLC as an additional insured. For any month in which you’ve obtained the required renters insurance outside of the Resident Benefits Package, Second Nature will deduct $11.95 from the Resident Benefit Package monthly fee.
