What maintenance am I responsible for?

Updated over a month ago

As a resident, you are responsible for setting up and paying for utilities, including electricity, gas, water, sewer, trash removal, and optional services like internet or cable. Basic upkeep such as maintaining plumbing and HVAC filters, lawn care, and snow removal from walkways and driveways is also part of your responsibilities.

If any damages occur due to you or your guests, you will need to cover the repair costs. The property should be returned in the same condition as when you moved in, aside from normal wear and tear. Smoking is not allowed inside the home, and written approval is required before making any changes or alterations to the property. If you have pets, our pet policy—including any applicable fees or restrictions—applies. If your home is part of an HOA, you will need to follow their rules in addition to local laws.

For additional information and a full breakdown, please refer to your lease and to our renter's responsibilities page.
