How does the process work with a housing voucher?

To lease a home with a Section 8 housing voucher, you must first present your approved voucher. Your application will then be reviewed according to our rental criteria. Upon approval, our resident services team will complete the necessary RAFTA (Request for Tenancy Approval) and landlord documents and submit them to the Housing Authority for processing. The Housing Authority will then schedule an inspection to confirm the home meets program requirements and approve the rent amount. Once the home is approved, you will sign the lease and proceed with your move-in.
